I build systems that scale design thinking across organizations — not by doing more design work, but by architecting the infrastructure that lets teams do better work without needing me in every decision.

WHAT IT ACTUALLY TAKES

As the founding designer at TRSS, I built design into the foundation of a 200-person engineering org—creating standards, systems, and strategy from scratch. My work turned user insight into infrastructure, elevating products and empowering teams to ship with confidence. To me, being a founding designer means building the systems that help everyone deliver great design, not just doing the design myself.

WHERE I'VE BEEN | WHERE I’M GOING

Design at scale isn’t about doing more work—it’s about finding friction, building systems to resolve it, and empowering teams to deliver their best. The designer’s role is to uncover invisible obstacles and create frameworks that enable strategy, not just execution.

I believe design’s next chapter is systemic: we build the infrastructure that allows others to ship excellent work. Our greatest value is in making design foundational, invisible, and indispensable to how teams operate and how products evolve.

The future of design is less about individual output and more about orchestrating connections between design, engineering, and product. True impact comes from embedding design thinking into the DNA of organizations—so decision-making, not just interfaces, are shaped by user insight.
