Turning Customer Signals Into Strategy
-
35 customer feedback entries scattered across months. No systematic way to extract signal from noise, identify themes, or prioritize what to fix versus what represents a competitive opportunity. Research was living in documents, not informing decisions.
-
A two-layer synthesis system. Layer one: compile feedback, cross-reference with competitive intel, surface themes, and gaps. Layer two: categorize findings by owner — design-led, dev-led, or shared — and priority. Output: one artifact showing exactly what customers need, where competitors are moving, and what’s a blind spot in the market.
This is the POC for Design OS — an agent layer on top of the skill infrastructure. It demonstrates that the same architecture that enforces design standards can synthesize research signals, surface strategy, and route decisions to the right owners. The system is modular, and the pattern scales.
-
Identified one single critical UX gap, 5 performance and data issues, and 3 competitive opportunities that we weren’t addressing. Signal was clear and prioritized — not a pile of quotes — and the strategy landed immediately with product leadership.

Any organization swimming in customer feedback can adopt this. Systematize the synthesis and decisions become data-driven, not opinion-driven. Research becomes a tool everyone references, not a report that sits in your inbox.
